1) To enter a position (transaction), right click on a ticker symbol>Enter Transaction.

In this example, let’s say that we purchased IGEN, Inc. on 2/24/2003 at $32.70. Complete the information in the Transaction Details window and click OK. [Note: The day this picture was taken was 2/25/2003.]

[Note: To enter a short, select Sell as the Type to enter the position (Sell to Open, Buy to Close).]

2) This transaction is now listed under the Current Holdings tab. The Trade Center automatically calculates your gains/losses based on the current price of the stock.

Note: to exit a position, repeat the steps in #1 above while in the Current Holdings tab.

3) A list of Transactions will be displayed under the Transactions tab.

[Note: The Gain column will not be populated until the position is closed (exited).]
